How well prepared is our firm to initiate and sustain meaningful transformation?
The assessment consists of 24 questions and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. After answering the questions, you’ll be asked to indicate the type of law firm you work in (for example, a large corporate firm, a boutique, or a notary practice). This information helps place your result in context and, over time, enables meaningful empirical comparison across different types of firms. If you wish, you can also receive a copy of your results if you also enter your e-mail address. You will then immediately be presented with your results. Individual responses are only used in aggregated form.
The assessment looks at transformation readiness across 4 interdependent areas that consistently determine whether change initiatives in law firms succeed:
- Strategic preparation and market awareness
- Culture, values, and shared vision
- Organisational structure, processes, and informal influence
- Execution capability, resources, and project management
The questions are intentionally framed at a strategic level. They are not about individual performance or technical detail, but about your firm’s collective ability to undergo a sustainable transformation. The result is an overall transformation readiness score, complemented by a high-level readiness profile.
Your results provide an indication of whether your firm currently has the foundations in place to initiate transformation projects or whether targeted preparation would significantly increase the chances of success.

Many firms use this questionnaire or the results as a starting point for an open discussion: to align partners, prioritise focus areas, and decide what kind of preparation is needed before launching a transformation project.
